Women in reproductive age is the most strategic target to improve nutrititonal status along the life cycle, because most of families have this age group, the mother and their teenager daughters. Improving the nutritional and health status of this group, it’s mean that we have the important effort to improve the health status of the critical period of preconceptional, to decrease the prevalence of anemia during pregnancy, low birth weight, and other antenatal or post natal problems related to the high incidence of maternal mortality and infant mortality. For this reason we have developed The Integrated Premarriage Service System at Probolinggo District, East Java. This is a qualitative research which was conducted on 2009 at 4 subdistricts by using many data collecting methods such as indepht interview, focus group discussion, and also cross-sector meeting to explore many informations related to the existing premarriage services at village level, subdistrict level also the policy from local Government at district level. Based on these informations, then we design a comprehensive model of integrated premarriage service system involving various institutions and their components in the community. This system was also called “LADUNI”, consist of administrative services, nutritional and health care including premarriage concelling services at Public Health Center and subdistrict office of Department of Religion Affair. At year 2010 “LADUNI” has been applied at 9 subdistricts until recent. Lesson learn from the implementation of this system, it’s needed a rule from local Government to establish and to scale up the service system over the all area at Probolinggo District.
